What we do, plainly.

1. What this service is

YourLastNote lets you write a personal letter, name a recipient, and entrust us with delivering it if you stop responding to our check-ins. You pay once, forty-seven dollars, and the letter is held for as long as you need.

2. How delivery works

Every thirty days we send you a short check-in. A single click, "I'm still here," resets the clock. If you do not respond, we try again on day thirty-seven and day forty-four. On day forty-five, your letter is delivered to the recipient you named, by email.

You can change the recipient, edit the letter, pause check-ins, or delete everything at any time from your account.

3. Your letter, your data

Your letter is stored privately and securely. We do not read it, share it, or use it to train any model. If you choose email delivery, it is delivered unread by us, only to the recipient you named, only on the day it is delivered.

If you choose postal delivery, our team will read the letter for one purpose only: to print it and mail it by hand to the address you provided. We do not keep paper copies beyond what is needed to send it, and we never share its contents with anyone but the recipient.

You can export or permanently delete your letter at any time. Deletion is final.

4. Payment

One payment of $47 USD. No subscription, no renewals, no upsells. Refunds are available within fourteen days of purchase if no letter has been delivered.

5. What we do not do

We do not deliver legal documents, wills, financial instructions, or anything requiring formal verification of death. We are a personal letter. If you need a will or a power of attorney, please speak with a lawyer in your country.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree not to use the service for harassment, threats, illegal content, or to deliver material that would harm the recipient. We may refuse or remove letters that clearly violate this.

Please keep your recipient's contact details up to date. We can only deliver to the address you give us.

7. Limits of our liability

We will do our best to deliver your letter, but email systems, recipients' inboxes, and life itself are imperfect. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will email you at least thirty days before the change takes effect. You can always delete your letter and close your account if you disagree.
